Today’s post is brought to you courtesy of POPSUGAR. I was sent their October Must Have Box to check out and share with you all! All opinions are my own. #MustHaveBox
So, today’s post is going to be a little bit of a first for us here at A Party of Four for a few reasons. I don’t usually subscribe to boxes like the POPSUGAR Must Have Box and also, I don’t typically talk about things like my beauty routine and things like that here- so, are we ready to open that can of worms today? I don’t know if I am, but let’s do it anyway shall we?
Being that this was my first ever POPSUGAR Must Have Box, I didn’t really know what to expect. I have quite a few friends in the beauty niche of blogging though, so I talked to them when I figured out the box was coming. One of my best friends was also getting the box, so we compared notes and she kind of let me know what was going down.
As a general rule, I love all things beauty. I am after all a licensed skin care professional! It’s just like other things have kind of filled up my life since having kids so those passions took a back-burner. So when I say this box spoke to me in all kinds of ways, I am not lying you guys. This box was great!
My most favorite items were the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen. I love the tip on it, it glides on super easily and I feel like it gives me a great amount of control.
The Rise & Shine mug from Morning Culture and The Makeup Eraser Mini are close seconds though! I’d been wanting to try the eraser for forever, and actually did a mini test for you guys in case you were as interested as me.
Basically, I took the eyeliner and smudged it on my arm nice and thick. Let it dry for a bit and then wet the makeup eraser as per the directions and wiped like it told me. It took it right off! I will be ordering the full size ASAP.
A few other things came in the box as well. There was a book from the founder of POPSUGAR, Lisa Sugar, herself, some drinking chocolate (so good), bath oil from Lalicious and a very cute Henri Bendel umbrella!
This box is definitely more of a lifestyle type box than beauty like I had always thought it was, which is a huge plus in my book. It’s something I would definitely think seriously about investing in! If it’s something that you feel you or a friend would be interested in trying, you can use the code SHOP5 for $5 off your first box! The code never expires, so no rush at all.
Tell me below, is this subscription box something you’ve tried in the past or something you would be willing to try? What is your favorite thing you see in the October box?
