If you are the parent of a child who isn’t potty trained, chances are a good chunk of your paycheck goes to buying diapers. I know ours does! This is one of the reasons Jake is so bent on no more kids. Keeping our kids clean is an expensive gig and while I complain about the money we spend, I am thankful we are able to afford it.
Many people around our country struggle each month to diaper their children. This is why the National Diaper Bank Network is calling for help with combating diaper need. The cool thing about this is that you don’t have to have a ton of money to donate. If you’re kids are still in diapers- you can donate your Huggies rewards points to the NDBN to help them donate wipes and diapers to families who need them.
You can also help by donating diapers and wipes directly to your local diaper bank! I love this initiative because I have been in a spot before where we had no idea how we were going to buy our next pack of diapers. That is the most horrible feeling in the world. So if I am able to help other families in need doing something I am already doing, I’m in!
Does your area have a way to help donate diapers and wipes to kiddos in need? I hope you’ll check them out!
