Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. We didn’t do a whole lot because everyone is still sick. Mostly just a bunch of hanging out and Jake had a bunch of homework to catch up on.
Today I thought it would be fun to share a cute DIY tree ornament with you guys! More than likely you already have everything you need to make this. So lets get to it!
What you’ll need:
- Pop Secret popcorn
- hot glue gun
- gum ball (or craft balls, or even a marker)
First, cut out a circle for Santa’s head, a hat shape and a beard. Glue these on.
Next, pop some of your favorite variety of Pop Secret pop corn and hot glue pieces of it to where Santa’s beard will be. I also glued on piece on the top of his hat! Addie wanted to use glitter so, we spread a little but of hot glue on the brim of his hat and sprinkled some red glitter there.
Draw some eyes (or use googly eyes), then cut your gumball in half and glue on his nose! To hang this on your tree, just gentle poke the end of a paperclip through the top of Santa’s hat and voila! You’ve got a fun and easy DIY ornament!
We had a lot of fun making our little Santa, I hope you will too!
