Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours was so busy, but we had a really good time. We were invited to a preview of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer exhibit at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. I’ve been going to this museum since I can remember and it was definitely something that made the decision to move home easier. I was so looking forward to taking Addie and Piper to visit and have some fun.
There was a ton of stuff to do in the exhibit. It’s huge. There were tons of different games and puzzles to do, and stuff for the active kiddos too like a rope maze and sewer tunnels to climb through. Kids can test their ninja skills on skateboards and more. I’m pretty sure Jake had just as much fun as the girls did, seeing the Ninja Turtle world come to life.
If you’re an Indy local, I strongly suggest checking it out. It’s going to be there until April 2016! If you aren’t local, but you ever find yourself in Indianapolis and have some time, I urge you to spend a day there. There is so much to do and see. We’re looking forward to visiting the haunted house next month.
Pro Tip* this exhibit was kind of loud, as kids exhibits can be, so if you or your child is sensitive to loud noises etc. there are noise cancelling headphones available at the concierge desk. You can also grab a sensory map and it will tell you where to expect loud noises, bright lights, strong smells etc. to make your visit more enjoyable!
What did you do this weekend? Anything fun?
