Happy weekend guys! I hope you all had a nice Friday. I was hoping to hit the State Fair this weekend but time just didn’t allow. Next weekend though I’ll be sure to take tons of pictures and share them here. Today I thought would be a great time to share a couple super simple and delicious after school snacks with you all. Most of the people I know had kiddos starting school last week so I’m hoping this is perfect timing!
What you’ll need:
- Apples of your choice
- Peanut butter
- Your favorite granola
First, core your apples and slice them into thick slabs. Slather on some peanut butter and top with granola before smushing the two halves together! My girls love this snack. I think another fun way to make this would be with some hazelnut or almond spread! Just grab your favorite Shamrock Farms mmmmilk to go along with it and you’ve got yourself a well rounded snack for the kids after school!
For the next snack, you’ll just need to grab a few of your favorite fruits and slide them onto a kabob stick or chopstick. Sometimes I like to add cheese to our kabobs to give them more texture and make them a little more filling. Addie thinks kabobs are the coolest snack ever.
Pairing one of these easy snacks with a mmmmilk will fill your kids empty bellies and tide them over until dinner. Plus, it’s a snack you don’t have to feel guilty about. Shamrock Farms mmmmilks are nutritious with zero added hormones and you can find them at your local Walmart! You can easily make these ahead of time and just pull them out of the fridge when the kids get home.
Also, until the 20th of this month, you can enter Roxies Ultimate Back-to-School Sweepstakes for a chance to win $5k in gift cards to help with all your back to school necessities!
Tell me below, what is your kiddo’s favorite after school snack?
