Jake’s Grandmother makes the best pumpkin bread and she was nice enough to give me the recipe. I love this stuff and if you like pumpkin, you will too.
As usual, first things first…
What you will need:
(Makes 3 loaves)
– 1 regular sized can of pumpkin
– 1 cup canola oil
– 3/4 cup of water
– 1 teaspoon vanilla
– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 3 cups sugar
– 3 1/2 cups flour
First, mix in large mixing bowl adding all of the ingredients. Add the flour last, 1 cup at a time until it’s all blended up.
Next, pour it into 3 greased loaf pans and bake at 350 for 1 hour. (or until your knife is clean)
Store in the fridge. (if it even lasts that long!)
Easy and glorious! What’s your favorite fall food?
